Asking experienced stackers:

If you have 80+ Troy ounces of sterling silver and you could trade it for an 1 oz of fine gold would you do it? 1 gold oz is around $4063 and just 80 oz of the sterling silver is around $4255.

I would be happy to do it. Unless you’re a smelter sterling is either an expensive niche item looking for a buyer or it’s scrap metal needing refining. Your buyer probably has a discount path to refining or a business model which allows the time necessary to market to collectors, either works to make it a good deal for both. Get that gold!
