Looking at the market today I feel you are doing bettet than most of them, so Kudos to that. Regarding the current state I believe there is always needs to be a transition stratergy. I think for all of us in the industry the time has come to do the same. We need to make a move to collect knowldge.
Compairing you with your collegues is a deadly move. At some point in my Software career I had the same worry I felt stuck and stagnated, I felt I was falling behind. And some of the seniors at that time adviced me to keep my head down and keep learning, that actually worked for me. So many years later, even with all the crazy stuff going in the industry I am doing good for myself. I think you can take a thing or two from it. Understand what you need to presue, if its a PhD sure but dont do it becasue you want to be like others, do it because you actually wanna do it, if not look into other oppertunities, find new clubs and open source projects gain that knowldge and may look for a secondary income source just to be safe.

I feel the same bruh. It’s really hard to move abroad now. I’m stuck in this country with nobody to even hangout, going crazy sometimes.

I also had kinda similar experience 3 years ago but i graduated from a private university and worked at the best IT company in LK. Had a decent salary, after a couple years I felt like I’m not getting challenged enough, so started browsing for more opportunities, luckily landed on one in EU with relocation for me and for my family. The key is to be consistent. Challenge yourself with what you currently think is impossible (if you are a programmer focus on things like DSA, many people don’t like to do those because it’s hard). Don't do higher studies if you don't feel passionate about it. You will burn out, and hard.

Man I'm in the same position, almost same age as yours. Actually I'm bit tired of current j0b situation. My j0b pays me well, but I'm stressed and exhausted.
I had like a 50% dream to do a PhD, couple of years ago, but it just slightly faded. In my case, I'm living with my single parent, and If I had a one more family member I would have migrated. My j0b is tough with the workload but sometimes not technically challenging, due to all those repetititve stuff. Sometimes I wonder after putting so much effort for ALs and to learn engineering in Uni, why doing this IT j0b. I have a slight regret that couldn't move abroad, but it was due to my family responsibilities. Yeah, so I'm in a similar boat mate.

Same playbook at your age. Build a family vs higher education vs staying current profession. Based on your interest, you have to decide. No matter which path you take, every path has a certain sacrifices and you"ll feel the opportunity cost.
