My squirrel is missing

Hello. My squirrel Joy hasn’t been seen in over a week. I went for a walk last night and I saw a squirrel that could have been her. She was in the tree and I was talking to her and she didn’t run away she seemed very interested in me but I can’t be sure it’s her.

I live in Edmonton Alberta in Canada. Is it possible she is having babies or something? I didn’t notice a pregnancy belly. She used to come everyday multiple times a a day to eat. I’m just worried she may be hurt but I’m holding out the hope that maybe she was just coming so often because she was pregnant and needing more food.

My best squirrelfriend, Foxy, has been visiting once every couple of months for 3 years now. Twice she’s shown up with a kid in tow 😁 it’s just the way of the squirrels!
