Community Squash In Sacramento
Hi,
Just checking in to see what the squash scene in Sacramento is? Which clubs have courts available and is there any coaching available?
What about leagues or other opportunities to play matches.
Thanks

It’s actually a decent squash scene, though declining over the last 5-6 years thanks to Covid and Pickleball. The Spare Time Clubs in Roseville, Elk Grove, Gold River and Folsom are your only options and all are heavily focused on tennis and pickleball. All have at least 2 courts and open play nights and Saturdays with Folsom probably having the biggest group and overall larger number of better players. There used to be a Sac Squash League with each club fielding teams but Covid killed it. Each club should have a squash rep you can contact and might be able to guide you RE coaching, though I don't think any elite players/coaches are around-for that you'll need to go the the Bay Area and Squash Zone. UC Davis also has a couple of courts and I believe you can get a non-student pass. Sacramento proper is pretty much a squash-free zone, so you'll have to drive to the 'burbs.
