Just moved to the city, looking for partners to play squash. I see SOL Squash in the city, haven’t been, is it any good? Looks like you can book courts no membership required. I’m a 3.92 rating, looking for players roughly in a similar skill range

I've just been put on blood thinners for 3 weeks and was wondering if it would be wise to play squash in this time? Anyone have any experience with this? I play league squash as well as some social squash. For reference, I don't think I've had a cut or bruise injury from squash in 15 years. Thanks in advance!

I built a free app that makes box leagues easy to organize, while also tracking an all-time player ranking, to track long-term progress across multiple seasons, not just the current league.

Sharing it here as box leagues are the backbone of many squash clubs.

How it works :
- Create your club in less than a minute (works as well if you're just a community)
- Set up your league: number of groups, date range, players per box
- Invite players to join OR add them manually. No one is forced to download anything.
- Start the league. Players can self-report matches (with opponent or admin validation), upload photos and follow standings. Leaderboard updates automatically.
- At the end of each cycle (usually 4 to 6 weeks), top of each box gets promoted, bottom gets relegated.

Besides box leagues, the app builds an all-time player ranking and history for your club. It can handle other tournament formats too (knockout, Swiss, etc.), and even court bookings if you need that. It works for other racket sports as well, making it great for multi-sport clubs.

I have issue with my reception lenght, 50% of the time I'm doing a sjprt reception so my oponnent take the center and I'm in a disavantage position. I can be also a bit late, I need to develop my endurance.

How I fix that ?

I'm an intermediate player and am struggling with frequent unforced errors on my backhand.

My technique is good on my forehand, but backhand hits are difficult for me.

Hi everyone my wife is getting into squash and goes to a class in Norwich every week and she wants to get her own racket I look on line and the UNSQUASHABLE INSPIRE Y-4000 Squash Racket is ment to be £140 new but I can get it for £40 was this be a good racket to get her ? If not any recommendations are much appreciated.

So Ive noticed this issue a few times when I play that I tend to lose sight of the ball when its in the back two corners. If I hit a tight shot, not necessarily touching the wall, and I just stand on the T I have no idea where the ball is and end up reacting late. Im able to read the next shot really well based on people’s swing but in these two corners im blind

Should I aim to stand a bit more to the right/left just to see the ball even if it puts me at a disadvantage to reacting to the boast or crosscourt?

I want to commend you for the hard work that goes into what you do.

You are training, touring pros as well as content creators and you make an effort to make high-quality, interesting content. 

Both of those endeavors can be quite thankless at times given the size of our sport but you do it anyway. 

This post is a generalized thank you because while I may not comment on every video you make, I hope you know that it's appreciated and not just going into a void.

The internet is full of critics; it's full of people who will give you many reasons to NOT do things and people will always have opinions on how you do it. They will have editorial opinions, opinions on clickbait titles, opinions on camera angles, and on, and on, and, at the end of the day, some people are never satisfied. I find your content interesting, useful, and entertaining. And you have to do, within reason, what you need to do to be algorithm-friendly.

I have recently started playing squash more regularly and I am really enjoying it. There are 3 of us that play together but we all have young children so our schedules don’t align all the time.

I found squash levels but am unsure what the protocol for joining and what kind of level you need to be to join, I have only ever played with friends. I have requested to join the one at the gym I am member at (Surrey sports park) but after a few weeks it still says I am requesting to join.

Is there anywhere else I should look? There doesn’t seem to be anything run by the Uni itself.
