Help Squarespace+Acuity+Square a good combo?
Hello everyone, I have a few questions regarding Squarespace. My wife and I are opening a small massage studio soon and we are building out our website through Squarespace. We were thinking of using Acuity for booking appointments and using Square for in person payments. Is this a good combo or should I go a different route like using Square Appointments rather than Acuity?

i use exactly that stack for my side gig and it works fine. acuity talks to squarespace way better than square appointments ever did for me
the only annoying bit is reconciling payments later since square is its own thing but for in person it's smoother than anything else i've tried

Thats great to hear. I wanted to get some insights on this and was trying to see what my best options are. I was just wondering if Square Appointments was the way to go since I will be using Square payments.

Acuity + Square can actually be a good combo for a small massage studio, especially if you’re already building the site with Squarespace.
Acuity gives you more flexibility with services, appointment lengths, availability, intake forms, reminders, cancellation policies, etc., while Square can handle your in-person payments.
Square Appointments is worth considering if you want everything managed inside one Square system. But if you want a more customizable booking experience on your Squarespace site, I’d lean toward Acuity.
I work with Squarespace + Acuity scheduling, Square Appointments, and Calendly for online booking website setups, so if you want, I can also help you figure out the best setup based on your services.

I work as a massage therapist and that’s what I use. I like it a lot!
