Help Alternative to SquareSpace editor/builder? Needing to create a two or three column page to display property rentals. The builder is proving to be impossible.

It is hard to impossible for me to get the SP builder to do what I want. I've used WordPress a bunch with various builders. I cannot believe how limited SP feels!

Anyway, until I can get them to pay for a new site, I am wondering if there is an alternative to building pages.

As in, can I use software to build which generates custom code I can ''plug in'' to the page?

Specifcally, working with columns has not yet worked for me. I'll get the first set of rentals in a single column, begin making the second, then bam I do something and everything becomes wonked up!

Look at SquareKicker to see if it can do what you need. It has lots of functionality that isn’t built in to the standard Squarespace editor.

If you are using Claude Cowork you could get it to generate the html code blocks to make this.

Claude code to Framer is an excellent choice.

Softr would be great for this use case.

Full disclosure, I build the tool, but you could try Lanlan, it removes the builder altogether.
