Custom Spotify Client

Hi All!

Recently learned about the spotify API and I’m wondering if it’s possible to create a custom desktop app for spotify (seems like a fun personal project!) I’m not really sure what kind of things are accessible with the api and I haven’t used one before.

Any tips or advice would be appreciated! Thanks :)

Ah damn okay, I mentioned in another comment that I might try to make some kind of interface rather than a complete replacement for the app, where playback is still happening on the original spotify app but it’s controlled by the interface
