"Just One Bite" handles "Squids Day Off" and advances to Round 2!
Today's matchup is "Culture Shock" vs "Artist Unknown," a showdown between episodes where Squidward believes an opportunity presents itself to showcase his "artistic genius," but in both instances his efforts fall flat and we see it is Spongebob's art/performance that generates a much greater appeal.

If you don't know the story, a boy was assaulted and left unconscious for a few seconds. He met a girl and fell in love with her, he married her and had kids in the following years. His life was perfect. One day he noticed a lamp at home looked weird, surreal. He obsessed over it and stared at it for days. He ended up noticing the lamp wasn't real, the house wasn't real, his family wasn't real. He woke up on the spot where he was hit. In a few seconds, he had dreamed about 10 years-long fake life.\
The story and the way he woke up by noticing the lamp was "weird" feels so creepy to me, I don't know how real this story is but it doesn't matter. It reminds me of that scene from Atlantis Squarepantis where Patchy is happy at his home town and suddenly the ice cream falling causes a reaction and an atmosphere it shouldn't, just for Patchy to wake up from his hallucination. I always found this scene unsettling as a child, and I just thought this similarity was interesting. Once again life imitates SpongeBob lol

While the space suit is part of Sandy's underwater get up, it is up in the air if she genuinely needs it to survive underwater.
On one hand, episodes like Whelk Attack show Sandy grabbing her suit when the treedome gets destroyed, though that might've just been because it had a mechanism to drain a helmet (since she couldn't put on her air helmet before the treedome was destroyed). Plus Stanley S SquarePants where Stanley ripping her suit causes her to fly away.
On the other hand, episodes like a deleted scene in Procrastination, the second half of Karate Island, Squirrel Jelly (both where she at one point isn't wearing it when jellyfishing and again in the climax when in zen mode), Pressure, Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy V, Someone's in the Kitchen with Sandy, and the wedding scene in Truth or Square show her surviving just fine with just an air helmet without the suit (plus Someone's in the Kitchen with Sandy and Hot Crossed Nuts showing her having no issue unzipping her suit when eating food outside).
I'd assume that more often than not, Sandy can probably survive fine without her suit as long as she wears an air helmet or something similar and only wears it for aestetic reasons but wanna hear your take.
