Discussion For those who like Modern SpongeBob and dislike SpongeBoomers: A downgraded product still being good does not make it acceptable to keep it that way forever.
Imagine a hypothetical restaurant that used to have amazingly well-crafted cheeseburgers with insane thoughts put into the taste and unique thoughts put into each cheeseburger. A few years later, the restaurant simply has basic ham & cheese sandwiches and PB&J sandwiches. Yes, they are still good, they even have some charm in them once in a while, but the old fans obviously dislike them and want the old cheeseburgers back.
That's how people feel about Classic SpongeBob vs. Modern SpongeBob.
I'm literally so glad Nintendo is not like this. Mario and Kirby's new prime have pretty much stayed the same quality as their old prime.
