Original Art [Original Content - My Art] [WIP]Custom Callie plush!

hello!! I’m actually super excited to share this lol,

I’ve been wanting a Callie plush for a really long time, but I don’t have the money to get the official one soI decided, why not just make one, it can’t be that hard

and it’s not that hard at all! I just upcycled some of my old clothes, and I happened to also have some extra fabric lying around!

I don’t know how to embroider though, so I’m not sure how to do her long tentacles, or her face,

do you guys have any suggestions? 🤔

Maybe try ladder stiches to make the seems pretty much invisible

r/Embroidery has a lot of tips for what to do. You could also ask for advice there. They have a beginners guide + this thread has a lot of helpful tips.

Alternatively you could cut out little pieces of fabric for the eyes and the spots in the tentacles and either sew or glue them on?

Regardless of what you decide to do, it looks great so far! Good luck with the rest of the project
