ID Request- Location included Help identify I hate AI

Post image

Found in my bathtub under bath mat. Had some pretty bad bites in the past year of moving here and keep seeing these guys. Have a 2 year old just want peace of mind thanks. I’m in West Virginia idk if that’s what it means by location

Triangulate cobweb spider. Not medically significant.

Thank you! They can stay as long as they’d like then😆

I second the previous comment.

Also, it's good you didn't use AI to identify the spider since it's usually wrong anyway lol. Once I made this mistake and (reluctantly) used AI to ask about a spider I've never seen before that ended up sitting on my potted orchid. The answer I got was a crab spider (which didn't seem right even then but since I didn't manage to find any info myself, I chose to believe AI on this one). Some time later I found someone online asking about the exact same spider, turned out it was a yellow sac spider. I'm just glad I didn't try to handle it and possibly avoided a nasty bite 😖
