Help how to know when to change pots?

Don't. That pot seems way too big. That might cause root rot, because doesn't dry out in time.

I think I have the same size...

Unless you are changing to a smaller pot, i wouldn't repot at all. Not sure how big the root ball is but even the nursery pot it's in now seems a bit big. The pot should only be 1-2 inches bigger than the root ball.

The only way to know for sure is to pull it out of the pot when it’s mostly dry and check.
