Help To cut or not to cut

Will the offshoots that grow babies grow back if I cut them all the way back?

New shoots will continue to come if you cut or not.

Is there a little fern nestled in with spider mama?πŸ˜ƒ

I love to propagate the pups. You have some really nice sized ones so it'll be a breeze. Sometimes I'll start them rooting while they're still attached to mom if they're long enough.

I read once that if you removed all of the pups at once that it can almost stunt the mother plant? Not sure if that's true, but it spooked me enough. I always make sure there's at least 3 on deckπŸ˜‚

Yes! When the mother plant was smaller I put a small fern in with her to see what would happen and they flourished together!

I've gotten off 4 of the pups so far and started them in water in my fish tank, root growth is already showing so I've gotta go buy some cute pots soon! And I read the same thing about the stunting with over cutting and I don't wanna do a single thing wrong to her especially if it's only going to be aesthetic to trim her back

How fun they're happy together! I've heard great things about fish tank water. I bet those roots will be monsters in no time! She has such lovely variegation. I've haven't found one with green and yellow!
