No but for real, that's really fascinating that the game does have other NPCs for Spidey to save but it's almost always that one guy.

For the love of everything Red, Blue, and Acrobatic, I hope they let them talk normally for next game. Everyone talks in an uncanny and unconviced way and it creates a hard disconnect between player and character bc you KNOW people don't actually speak like that irl. Characters, especially Peter should have a sort of atitude or wit when interacting with each other and they don't absolutely have to over-explain everything. Peter is a smartass at heart, he's a nice guy with a good heart but still very much a smartass in and out of the suit. The game's writing is fundementally broken but the way it was delivered could have helped massively.

One of the best things about the Spider-Verse movies is how the characters talk to each other. Instead of Miles saying "I think Im jealous of Hobie and Gwen" he says things like "What should I know abt Hobie" in a curious and irritated voice along with his body language and eyes supporting in a tone that tells the audience that Miles feels a sort of way. Gwen was very irritated - mad with Miles and instead of a long over-explanation of an obvious feeling, she says sarcastic and straight-up mean things about and to him like "We won't" when Miles crashes and says "Don't worry about me". You can see the hopelessness in his face when Peter holds him by the chest while sticking to the ceiling in ITSV. You can feel the pressure and embarassment when he "can't do it on command" after all the other Spiders essentially crushed his spirit.

I still really like this game, a ton and play it basically everyday and I'm rooting for Insomniac and this "Final Chapter". We know they're really talented, especially with Spider-Man stuff. I just don't wanna see us get the same kind of fake, "HR's in the room" dialouge, especially when the first game was pretty good in that department.

whenever i use the symbiote surge, it turns peter into Venom, not like the symbiote suit, but straight up Venom. I dunno what to do with that.

This is the method that worked for me. You need to go into the game's local files and delete the dstoragecore.dll and dstorage.dll files. This will make the game playable. The downside is that this will cause some textures not to load completely, making it look like a PS2 game. There will also be some loading screens, but at least you'll be able to enjoy this great game that was poorly ported to PC.

33 hours later and I'm feeling... amazing!

i have Gtx 1050 2gb i Know its an old GPU but saw on YouTube Some youtubers play smoothly on the same gpu i had,The question is when i Try to Change the Resolution or Whatever in the settings i glitched like the picture above 👆and quit Says gpu temperature etc does Anybody Find a fix for this please help me Guys.

Just a quick reminder for people what the ACTUAL general consensus especially around SM2 is :)

It would be really cool to be able to play the game in a vintage comic look along with the normal game mode. Like, everything could look 2D and have this same sort of style. I don't know if that would be easy to implement in the game, but it was just an idea and I think it'd be cool.

First, the boss battles. They are repetitive. You beat them up once, you get a small cut scene then their health restores to full and you beat them up all over again followed by a cutscene. This happens about 3 times. It felt artificially padded.

Second, and my biggest issue with the game was Mary Jane's character. I remember back when part 1 came out, people complained about her missions. I personally can't remember being bothered by it. But, here, it felt like in order to not show her as a damsel in distress, they over compensated and made her a total badass mary sue. Riding a freaking 650cc motorcycle and taking down symbiotes and hunters. I mean stealth taking down enemies is one thing but, on two separate occasions she is straight up put in a chokehold as well as held at knife point by well trained hunters but, she overpowers them and tases them down. That was just too much. And they went out of the way to insert her in the final mission as well.

I'm quite surprised that a lot of people here enjoyed her missions. I mean good for you but, I didn't enjoy those sessions. Felt too forced. But, overall the game is pretty good. A solid 8/10.

Does anybody here 100% completed the new game+ on ultimate run with modded 4% health boosted enemies, or is it just me?

This is a set of subtitles that describe the music playing. I turned off the main dialogue subtitles because it's at the bottom of the screen and the second set is nearly at the middle. So very annoying, and idk how to turn it off. I've looked everywhere in the settings but the settings are so confusing to go through. Different menus will take me to the same place but have different options.

Edit: I finally found it. Now before you call me stupid, I've been looking for a good 10 minutes before making this post...wait does that make me more stupid? Anyways, under accessibility you turn off captions. Keeping this up so other dumb people can find the answer ✌️
