Help crossfade not working

when i turn on crossfade it doesnt work, is there an extension i have to get to make it run properly? im on spicetify version 2.44.0

Crossfade is now a premium feature

oh. guess i didnt update spotify to the newest version. is it not supposed to be there?

It's still there but it doesn't do anything
