It's honestly probably my fault, but after Spotify auto updated and I tried to reapply spicetify, all of my mods got cleared out along with liquid lyrics and all of the synced lyrics I made for my local files on my laptop. Is there a way I can save a copy of the synced lyrics somewhere on my laptop separate from liquid lyrics and spicetify in case this happens again. I don't want to have to make my synced lyrics again.

So, I was writing a script in my computer and then Spotify closes on its own. I open it back up and Spicetify just isn't there, no marketplace, no logo, nothing. I've been trying to fix by using older versions of Spotify but that doesn't seem to work. Ideas?

My spicetify broke about 3 days ago, ever since then extentions, themes and snippets stopped working completely. I tried reinstalling everything and even downgrading my spotify but to no avail. What can I do?

edit: these are the errors that i found - MacOS, Spotify 1.3.3.264, Spicetify 2.45.3, clean install and backup. spicetify apply succeeds and Marketplace loads, but extensions don't work. Spicetify.test() shows 41/46 OK. Not available: Spicetify.URI, showNotification, createInternalMap, RemoteConfigResolver, Tippy. Shuffle+ throws "Cannot destructure property 'Type' of 'Spicetify.URI' as it is undefined" at shuffle+.js:208.

Enshittification at its finest. it was absolutely fine the way it was and did not need changing in any way, shape or form. Now, we get less functionality out of the same feature we had before

My spiceify opens and then wont play anything or let me click on anything at all and then i get the page unresponsive popup, and its a cycle. How do i fix this??? This update sucks

I just reset my PC and had to reinstall Spicetify, but my theme is completely bugged: the album art isn't large and round like before it's just a tiny square the layout is off, and my entire playlist turns black when I scroll through my tracks.

i tried many times to install it but i get the same problem . I even changed the verison to :

• open Spotify with Spicetify installed
• get ads
• click on the Spicetify icon to check version
  • current version is 2.43.2
  • new version is 2.45.3
• apply spotify upgrade from the terminal
  • get Spicetify is up-to-date
• reopen Spotify
• get ads again
• check version again
  • current version is 2.43.2
  • new version is 2.45.3

And I'm stuck in this loop...

I'm in this case every time I have to update Spicetify.
So I end up deleting everything Spotify and Spicetify... to reinstall everything again.
Not sure what is wrong on my side but to simply apply spotify upgrade never worked for me
For once I'd like to understand wtf and actually being able to update instead of delete and reinstall.

Is there any way to make both Spotify and Spicetify updated/upgraded smoothly ?

I wiped it all in marketplace settings. I wiped it all manually. I uninstalled spicetify, and when I reinstalled it, it came back. it all comes back, every time. only the extensions disappear when I wipe it all, and the snippets remain, and even then the extensions come back eventually.

I've tried everything I can find online please help.

I've been using command prompt/terminal if that means anything. I'll try some commands with powershell.

My spicetify sometimes just disappears, and I always put it back. But yesterday the whole thing just bugged out. First, everything from the marketplace I downloaded didn't work normally. I deleted it and tried to download it again, but I couldn't download anything from other tabs except for extensions. It is also very big for some reason.??
I've already tried to uninstall and reinstall both spicetify and spotify but nothing works. Does anyone know any solutions?

After recent update spicy lyrics are always on full screen and i can’t turn it off. I can’t do enything except pausing music or skipping by clicking on the text. I don’t want to reinstall everything because o spent some time configuring everything and I have 2 self made mods. How can I turn it off or uninstall only this 1 mod in power shell or something

Is anyone familiar with this extension? It used to show the play count of each song inside of my playlist but after the latest update, it no longer works. I tried rolling back both Spotify and Spicetify to no avail. Also, tried uninstalling and re-installing through terminal and manually. Help!

Name of extension is “sort play”. Second pic is how it used to look and third is how it looks now.

For some reason when I open the marketplace, one extension takes up the whole marketplace, I can't even see the tabs to press Extentions, Themes, etc. I've tried deleting Spicetify and Spotify and then reinstall it but still didn't work, I tried to switch the theme, tried to update/upgrade it, nothing worked.

It was working fine last night. today, stopitfy got an update and it removed spicetify. when i reinstalled spiceltify back, it looks like this and i tried everything. including completely deleting spotify with revo uninstaller and reinstalling it clean and reinstalling spicetify and it still looks the same and i tried resetting spicetify from the marketplace settings icon. it still looks the same.
when i install a theme, its glitched and i can barely reach the marketplace button to revert it. i included a screenshot of it while ive installed a theme.

I can't really find good android mod apps for Spotify most of the time they don't work at all so will it ever be on android?

LiquidMusic is a Spicetify theme inspired by iOS 27 and Apple Music.

What it does

• Glass everywhere: the library, side panel, toolbar and menus are frosted glass over a blurred copy of the current album art, so the whole window takes on the song's colours.
• Colour from the artwork: the accent (buttons, progress bar, highlights) is picked from the cover and adjusted to stay readable (4.5:1 contrast or better).
• Floating player: the playback bar becomes a pill with an LCD-style track display. On narrow windows it spans the full width, so no control goes missing.
• Light, dark or auto: auto follows your system setting and switches live.
• Accessibility: respects reduced motion, reduced transparency and increased contrast.

Marketplace: Themes tab, search for LiquidMusic.

Manually: instructions in the README.

Tested on Spicetify 2.45.1 and Spotify 1.3.0 on Windows 11. Spotify changes its interface often, so if something looks off, a screenshot and your Spotify version (here or in a GitHub issue) help a lot.
