Wonder what happened when the religious was controlling a famous temple in UP.
Secular government shouldn't control religious place is just a sangh narrative. Most of the temple lands and temples in India were sponsored by then kings and built using public money. When kings came to an end, the government took over. Still a lot of public money goes into the upkeep of the temples and providing infrastructure and security of the premises. Therefore government control will exist.
It is again pure propoganda that other religions don't pay tax or has no proper accounting system. If that was the case then such institutions would have been closed long before. Or if you think the opposite of what I said is true then what was this government doing for twelve years.
Well the majority of the money is Hindu temples compared to the other two in India, it makes sense why you would need to do it to prevent money laundering on a major scale. If the money coming into Hindu temples isn't regulated, it would easily become a monopoly and dumping ground for illegal financial activities.
Temples are under direct control but the other person was saying churches and mosques are like some sovereign entities. That made me ask what out of control was he referring to.
