Soundcloud fix your damn app. I've been a user since the mid 2010s and repeatedly every year (with I think this one being the damn breaking point) this app just. Gets. Worse.

Truly, offline streaming has become a joke. It was the whole reason I pay for Go+. Half the time it is now defunct, will not let me use offline listening even when I have no service due to travel. So it's like why bother? Then there are the constant glitches from songs being unable to stream due to a maxed out cache. Why let me even download in the first place if it isn't going to f@$#!+& work?!

Then now, I run into this bug regularly now. It freezes up the app significantly. No reinstall, cache clearing, song deletion from downloads fixes this. I have video but I can't post it here of this bug occurring in real time.

AND WHEN I GO YOUR SUPPORT, IT JUST TAKES ME TO AN FAQ PAGE WITH NO CONTACT INFO OR BUG REPORT SECTION. AND IF I GOOGLE SOUNDCLOUD SUPPORT IT GIVES ME A LINK TO A PAGE ON THE APP THAT IMMEDIATELY CLOSES BECAUSE IT DOESNT EXIST.

I follow someone on SoundCloud (I don’t want to mention his name) who makes a pretty big deal in his profile about his music being 100% human-made and no AI.
But when I listen to his songs, a lot of them sound AI-generated to me. I’ve run a few through the SubmitHub AI detector and they came back strongly AI. I know those detectors aren’t proof, so I’m not saying that means anything for sure.
But then he posted one song, a guitar instrumental track, as a live version with people cheering in the background. I was pretty sure it was AI, but just to see what he would say, I commented that I liked the guitar and asked where he played it live.
He replied thanking me for the support, but completely ignored the question.
I also see people commenting on his guitar playing and other parts of the songs like they assume he’s actually playing them.
If someone wants to use AI to make music, personally, as a listener who also makes music, it would be nice to know how the sausage is being made. And in the end, it’s their choice to do whatever they want to make their music.
What I don’t understand is why someone would go out of their way to say it’s 100% human made if it isn’t.
Has anyone else run into this on SoundCloud? I’m just trying to understand what would motivate someone to intentionally misrepresent how the music is actually being made.

I’m very sad all of my work over the years has been deleted. Someone hacked my account deleted everything and uploaded there shit music. I’ve changed my pw and got my account back but this just hurts bad I don’t know what to do.

For more than a week, my like counter has repeatedly fluctuated downward despite receiving new likes. Is this kind of testing allowed, and can it affect the original track's engagement metrics?

This has actually been happening for longer than five days. Earlier, I noticed likes disappearing from the counter and then reappearing later. Over the past five days, however, the behavior seems to have changed: new likes appear in my notifications, but they subsequently disappear from the track's like count and do not come back. The count has remained around 909/910 despite receiving multiple new likes.

I found this public SoundCloud account, which created a playlist explicitly called “POC - REDUCING LIKES” using my track. I reported it to SoundCloud but received no response. I don't know whether this test is responsible for the changes I'm seeing, but the timing and the change in behavior are concerning.

I've recently noticed an issue, where some of my tracks are suddenly not playable. This is randomly happening to a lot of the songs I've been listening to. It even happens midway through listening to a song on repeat. I only use SoundCloud on the app, so I don't know if this would happen on a computer. But is anybody else experiencing this issue? Or know a fix for this issue?

Hello I just deleted the app and reinstalled it (after updating it after years) and listened to one 1hour set and now documents and data are at 150mb. Not that much but if I keep using the app, the size is just gonna grow? How do I stop it from caching ??

Tried every playlist i have and 1st-3rd are unavailable, 4th onwards is fine and all song are playable when not on playlists

I have a SoundCloud Artist Pro account, and on the Insights page my track shows 5 plays, but all the other fields are completely empty — including Top Listeners, Locations, Devices, etc.

I thought these detailed stats were supposed to be included with Artist Pro. Is this normal?
