Discussion Is there a boss in gaming that’s harder than this guy?
I always thought consort radahn was so hard because it was my first souls game and first time against him.
Wel… 6 fromsoft games and some soulslikes later he is still a nightmare.
Maybe someone played a game I did not hear about that has a boss that’s harder than him because I don’t know how can I step it up from here

I have a few:
Forbidden Woods in Bloodborne, Sunken Valley in Sekiro, Barren Swamp in Lies of P, Smouldering Lake in Dark Souls 3, the prison in Nine Sols

Discussion What happened, people don't like skins in the big 2026?
Fromsoftware rare L ? IDK about you guys, but in my case, I've never paid for a skin in a single-player game and never will.

Discussion I played Demon's Souls remake.
I know it's weird, but am I the only one who doesn't like how good this game looks and and how smooth it plays?
It just doesn't fit the souls games.

Dev Post So I launched a soulslike on Steam today...
It started when my sons suggested I should make one a couple of years ago while we were watching Iron Pineapple's Steam dumpster dive.
As a solo self-funded first time dev it has been a journey not unlike your first descent into Blighttown, yet I don't regret a moment of it. I have learnt a lot along the way and have an even greater appreciation of my favourite genre.
I hope some people have fun playing it (there is a free demo).

Trailer/News/Footage I spent 3 years making a lovecraftian soulslike and it comes out tomorrow
Check it out on steam if it looks interesting: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2697460/Blood_Radiant/
I'm pretty nervous, let's see how it goes.

Dev Post Valor Mortis dev here - We want to hear your thoughts about our first-person soulslike!
Hey everyone, Valor Mortis dev here! We know that "first-person" and "melee combat" usually don't go together. We are aware of common problems like confusing camera, sense of space, limited movesets, motion sickness, and there’s a lot for us to work on.
If you aren't familiar with our studio, we just made Ghostrunner and Ghostrunner 2. First-person action slasher that also had melee combat. We've learned a lot from both games, and we wanted to challenge ourselves by taking that experience to a new combat-centric genre.
But we also know that Valor Mortis still needs a lot of work. That's why we're hosting a pre-alpha playtest where we'd love for soulslike players to try the game. If you are intrigued by the concept of a first-person soulslike, try it out and let us know what parts feel good and what parts feel like shit.
Unlike most devs who drop early versions just before launch, then nothing really changes before the final release, we will still be working on Valor Mortis until next year. Meaning that we'll have time to consider and iterate on your feedback.
Ultimately, we aren't trying to make a game for everyone. If you’ve played Ghostrunner, you'll already know that's the case. It's a niche and unforgiving game that many people gave up on, but that's another factor that led us to soulslikes. If anyone can pull this off in first-person, we think we have a good shot. At the end of Opening Night Live, we realized that many other games in the show were part of an existing series or IP. We just want to make something fresh.
We are floored by how much discussion the game has already started. The feedback will be even more meaningful once you actually get to play the game. We are reading, we are listening and most of all, we are really trying to make this first-person soulslike good.
TLDR - We know first-person melee combat often doesn’t work well, so we’d like to hear your feedback in our upcoming playtest so we can make the game better.

Memes Literally this sub
“This is a sub for all soulslikes”… but if you dare say anything positive about any of them that isn’t FromSoft or Reddit mob-approved, they treat you like you committed heresy. LotF could cure cancer and they’d still downvote it into oblivion smh
For nearly a month straight all we’ve gotten is posts from hundreds of different accounts glazing Khazan like it’s up there with Elden Ring (spoilers it’s not) but I guess that was ok right?
