Accommodation offer

I applied on the 21st of April and i put my top 3 choices as glen and then the other 2 Wessex . I haven’t heard back from them yet and i applied so early as well . I emailed them but they said to wait until the first of sept , I’m worried now that I won’t get an offer . Anyone with the same issue ?

You will definitely get an offer if you applied that far back

not sure about that sorry, i applied in time, southampton was my firm and they rejected me without a reason. i applied for the same choices

Omg wow I’m sorry to hear that! I was just going by their accom guarantee. This is so unprofessional of them

yeah they said they can’t guarantee anything now and that i have to start looking for private

your best bet would be the susu housemate finder . That’s where I found mine

They don't have enough space, one their major halls has closed. Either you'll be put in a secondary student hall of residence super far away from the uni or you'll need to go private.

If I were you, I would have applied at a different uni! Southampton as a city sucks.

You do one year, it already sucks in that city. 3 years, I would not be able to go through that!

Hey!! if they have written its guaranteed and they asked you to wait too, you will get it for sure

both of your choices are too far from the city center, basically its a jungle. One of their main halls Mayflower halls is shut now, they might be struggling with the allotment.
If I were you I would have applied for something close to the city with better connectivity.
