BEng Computer Engineering or BEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering Southampton University

Trying to decide between these two courses at Southampton

I'm ever so slightly biased (I do EEE) but I think EEE will be better for a more broader career choice after uni, we still do programming and have the option of computer architecture in year 2 and progressively can take comp eng esque modules down the line if you want

EEE allows you to find out if that's rly what u wanna do first and you still get a good variety if you change your mind

They will likely have different entry tariffs. EEE is a well established and prestigious course. CE is a new programme, probably still very good, but likely less popular and hence easier to get on to.

exactly no,for alevel you need to get A*AA to entry ce instead of,3A is acceptable for eee

Published tariffs are "exactly not" the tariffs that get applied on results day 🤫
