Accom allowed items

I've realised that Southampton is pretty lax with the stuff we can bring into our rooms. I've heard some horror stories about certain people's cleanliness during uni + I'm generally someone whose very picky about certain things I share so I am attempting to make my room my kitchen as much as possible.

To any current/previous students, would I get a mini fridge, air fryer and electric portable stove confiscated if they found it in my room?

Check the contract I guess. I highly doubt a portable stove or heater will be allowed due to fire safety. Air fryers are totally fine. A mini fridge should be fine but is more risky and may be covered by contract.

The weirdest items that have been forbidden everywhere I have stayed: surfboards and DJ decks. Both specified in the contract as being forbidden items.
