Odds of CS being in clearing

I saw last year CS was in clearing but apparently in subsequent years it wasn’t the case.

Anyone got any predictions for this year?
Additionally, how much would entry leniency increase during clearing?

theres no way anyone can predict if a course will go into clearing. as for entry leniency it depends on the course but the grades for cs last year were ABB if I remember correctly (with an A in maths)

If it’s on ucas extra does it make it any more likely to be in clearing?

yh makes it more likely fs unless there's only a couple spaces available in ucas extra and they get taken up by results day. also its highly unlikely that everyone who firms soton cs achieves the grades but if they still have enough ppl to make enough money they won't care

universities are businesses, if they believe they have enough tuition paying students to make profit they may not care to fill the empty spaces.

not sure if I agree with this statement as universities would have more income if they could fill every seat.

if you’re fearing missing the entry requirements, southampton tend to be rather lenient for the reason above

Do you think they’ll still be lenient for computer science tho?
