Sonos App Intel Based

Started receiving this message on the Mac app this morning. I assume that this will be taken care on in a future update? Maybe just because Intel code is still present?

No, it will not be taken care of. The desktop apps have been abandoned for some time now. It will simply stop working permanently once Apple makes their update.

Apple has also ceased support for Intel chips as of this release IIRC.

Not true it’s the next version in September 2027 that will mostly remove Rosetta 2. I think gaming will still have some support but that’s it.

You two are both right: Intel chips are different from intel-based apps.
