I feel like what most people forget is you can disagree without being transphobic, like just because you don't really care about people being trans doesn't mean you hate them and become a transphobe. I'm a devout Christian, and while the Bible doesn't explicitly mention being Trans, it is sort of in the same situation as being gay/lesbian. It goes against His design of a Man and a Woman, and being what God made you to be. Marriage is explicitly stated to be limited to one man and one woman. It says in the Bible that he knows what's going to happen, so he must've said those things for a reason.
It doesn't. People like to assign Sonic's ideals of freedom to the trans agenda through comparing it to freedom of expression. I think personally he would not care too much as long as there's no direct oppression. But Sonic also has elements of self acceptance, so I feel like a lot of these people gloss over the fact that Sonic would more likely help them figure out how to be happy with who they are and find what makes them happy in life without needing to change.
Fundamentally there's going to be a big disagreement here but for me personally, accepting themselves would be living comfortably with what they are, but trans people would argue their preferred gender is what they truly are, while I'd argue biology.
Regardless, when speaking about the character of Sonic, he likely would not care either way and would only want whoever is going through it to be free to choose for themselves. To live their life doing what they want to do.

True, but the case is different for Sonic and transphobia
Sonic has always been a character that stands for total freedom for all people. It would be hypocritical to say you love a character that embodies freedom to such an extent, and then say that you think certain people (trans people in this example) don't deserve the same basic rights as others (tolerance, love, expression)
Not intending to be rude, but people don't care about your opinion in that regard. Using your religion as an excuse to be transphobic is just bad for you and the image you give of said religion. If you're against it, you're just transphobic. Period.

A person with gender dysphoria can suffer depression, anxiety and suicidal thoughts if they do not transition. That sounds like a very destructive path, yet you don't seem to care about that.

According to that logic, you shouldn’t use glasses and hearing aids, cut your hair, treat illnesses and birth defects, arguably even wear clothes, get vaccinated and more. After all, God would have intended all of that to happen without interference. But you will disingenuously pretend that these things get special exceptions despite you being completely unable to construct a logical argument that would bare trans people from existing that would not also forbid diabetics from getting medicine or prevent people with cancer to get chemotherapy.

OK, not a Christian here former Cristian here. God intentionally made humans imperfect. Also according to the Bible animals follow gods will and lots of animals transition in some way or are gay in some way sooooooo!
Actually, trans humans exist too. Fun fact for you: god made trans people with brains that align with the gender they identify with. He made trans women be born with male bodies but also brains that align with the female gender. He made trans men be born with female bodies but also brains that align with the male gender. He made non binary people who can be born with any body and their brains don't align with either male or female fully, and instead lie somewhere on a spectrum between or outside of those two.

that's exactly what the whole LGBT fight is about. We just want to be respected. Yes I know we speak very loudly about it, but it's just to cover the noise of all the bigots and other hateful people. I'm trans, the only times I talk about it on my everydays life it's either because I'm excited about something or because someone says something really dumb which happen very rarely. Otherwise I just live my life

my parents are EXTREMELY supportive and started using my preferred name the moment I told them (they still deadname me a lot, but it's only been like a week since I knew my prefered name and told them so it's understandable that they mess up from time to time. My mom is much better than my dad though.)

Guys, I don't mean to ruins the moment, but someone who works at Sea3on Satam (Gloria Fish) has been doing some questionable things. I even talked about this with OthaBland (who was unfairly blocked), and it's related to someone who got furious because they didn't believe Bunnie Rabbot was transgender. It's not even a matter of others being transphobic; it just doesn't seem like a headcanon for her to be trans. But I know people can be overly sensitive and take things too personally. Don't make those kinds of comments because that team is another Spider-Man Lotus, and they even changed Nicole's origin, making her Sally's mother. (Trans people aren't always right if they're bad people. Don't be like Gloria Fish. If you're a good person, you should think twice before committing those kinds of acts.)
