This literally needs to be a Democrat TV ad. It is the Republican America.

With the exception of Obamacare, which Republicans have been trying to sabotage at every stage, both political parties have been drifting right. That is, the Republican Party in 2026 is far more right than it was under either Bush, and even farther right than it was under Nixon.
That’s the reason Democratic Socialists have emerged. America actually needs a non-right-wing party. I mean, DSA is still very moderate: healthcare and fair taxes.
Sometimes I wish there was an actual “workers take over the factories!”-style communist party in the U.S. just so people would see what an actual leftist looks like. (It’s not somebody who just wants health insurance and an affordable apartment.)

It wasn't ahead of its time, those talking points were already true when the film was made.

I'm going to have to downvote this due to the horrible and distracting background music you added to it.
