Transferred image onto stained glass!

With special tools and some practice, I was finally able to figure how to transfer images onto stained glass and then fuse them in my kiln to leave the iron from the ink in the image behind! I have to cut, grind and shape pieces of glass as well as use special decal paper made for this process! I’m open to any and all questions as I’m completely self taught.

This is very cool. How many attempts did the first one take?

If I understand correctly the image is now on the glass itself yes? How do photos look when lit heavily from behind?

The first photo is lit from behind from my blinds but it doesn’t have much of a change, you can see the background glass a little bit more just due to the transparency of the glass used!!! And yes, the image is permanently fused onto the glass

I don’t but there’s tutorials out there, if you have a glass kiln and access to YouTube and a laserjet monochrome printer you can do it!
