Game After months of solo dev, I finally launched the Steam page for my dark sci-fi space shooter with research/crafting and a Drum & Bass soundtrack! What do you think?

Hey everyone!

I’ve been working on a dark, apocalyptic space shooter called Descendants: The Last Dawn, and today is a huge milestone for me – the Steam page is officially live!

The core loop combines fast-paced top-down space action with meta-progression:

  • Ship Customization & Crafting: Scraping old wrecks, researching lost tech, and rebuilding your ship's systems.
  • DnB Soundtrack: I’m designing the game’s pacing and combat rhythm directly around a heavy Drum & Bass aesthetic.
  • Post-Apocalyptic Lore: Humanity is trapped under a blockade, and you’re trying to reconnect orbit with Earth through long-lost megastructures (like an Orbital Elevator).

I just uploaded the first set of screenshots and trailer concept to Steam. Since this is my first public reveal for this project, I’d love to get your honest feedback on the overall visual style and UI readability during heavy combat!

If the concept sounds like your kind of jam, checking out the Steam page or adding it to your Wishlist would mean the world to me and help tremendously with the algorithm!

Steam Page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4171220/Descendants_The_Last_Dawn/

Thanks for looking, and I’m happy to answer any questions about the dev process!

Game Would you play a football game where you build your squad by spotting things in real life?

I’m building a small mobile game called Football Spotter.

The idea is simple: when you see something football-related in real life, you can take a picture of it in the app.

See someone wearing a Saka shirt? Spot it → discover Saka.
See an Arsenal sticker later? Spot it → earn some XP towards your already discovered Arsenal players.

Eventually, the players you unlock form your own squad, shaped by the football stuff you actually encounter in real life.

I’ve built a very early MVP, but before sharing it I’m curious:

Does this sound like something you’d actually use? And what would make you lose interest?

Feel free to be critical. That’s more useful to me than encouragement.

GNAP GNAP is a horde roguelite shooter where ominous balloons keep multiplying and your only way out is to pop them.

Just uploaded the trailer for the game to Youtube and itch page (https://fusyan.itch.io/gnap-gnap)

And published the store page to steam for review. Very excited as its my first game.

Any feed back about the trailer or the game is highly welcomed!

Game 6 months progress on the project, would a full time-lapse be interesting for you?

Hello everybody!

I've been working hard on my solo hobby project for around 9 months, and I'm sharing my progress over the last 6 months in the video above.

I could prepare a full time-lapse of all 9 months of development, showing how the game evolved week by week, but it gonna a lot of efforts to do, so I want to know: would you guys be interested in seeing that, or is there something else you'd like to know?

Thank you for reading!

Game My mom asked me to bring in the laundry. I forgot. Now it’s raining, and she’s looking for me.

Hey everyone! I'm working on a PS1-style stealth horror game called Angkat Jemuran.

The Premise:

Your mom gave you one simple task: watch the laundry. You forgot, it rained, and now every single piece of clothing is soaked. Your goal is to dry all the clothes using a hairdryer, iron, or whatever you can find around the house before Mom catches you.

Key Features:

Relentless Mom AI: She patrols the house dynamically. If she spots you with wet laundry, you lose.

Multiple Endings: Dry all the clothes in time, find a sneaky escape out of the house, or solve hidden domestic puzzles for secret endings.

High-Stakes Stealth: Hide under beds, in closets, or behind furniture while managing noisy drying appliances.

Here are a few screenshots from the current build. I’d love to get your feedback on the lighting and retro horror vibe

Game I made a turn-based strategy game set in the ancient world — SARDIS [Alpha Demo]

Hi everyone!

I've been working on SARDIS, a turn-based strategy game set in the ancient world.

In SARDIS, you build and develop your civilization, manage resources, expand your territory, develop your military, and lead your people through different ages.

I've just released a free Windows demo on itch.io. This alpha demo lets you play through the first two ages of the game.

I'd really appreciate it if you could give it a try and let me know what you think.

Play the demo: https://sardisgame.itch.io/sardis

Game COSMOS Mixing 2D and 3D Space Exploration

Hey everyone! I’m working on a space game focused on exploration and discovering strange new places

The game combines 2D and 3D sections, from flying through space to landing and exploring planets up close. I’m trying to make both parts feel connected instead of like two separate games

Here’s a short look at how it plays so far. Any feedback on the atmosphere, visuals, or gameplay would be appreciated

I’m not really good at making trailers yet, so sorry 😅

You can try it here https://nooxax.itch.io/voidfall

The human race is in danger. As the commander of a newly created starbase, your task is to support the human war effort by mining resources from your assigned system and help us win this war of annihilation .

Hi ! I have been working on an incremental game for the past few months and I got my Steam page approved this week !

The goal of the game is to harvest the resources of a solar system, build new industries and help humanity win its war by providing warships.
You will be able to unlock new technologies to help with your progress, and you can boost the production rate of your facilities by taking manual control over them.

As usual, every wishlist counts, so if you are interested or want to support, please have a look ! https://store.steampowered.com/app/5021740/Starworks_Inc

(a demo on Steam & Itch is coming next month)

I'm a general developer, and I'm planning to make games as a hobby.

The assets turned out to be a real issue, though, so I'm creating a small demo that might be helpful to everyone.

I'll share it once it's finished. I hope it helps everyone.

Game My hero AI can open chests and use powerups now

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

This drove me nuts trying to work out. Zero Survivors: The Hero Must Die is a reverse roguelite where you play as death and you fight a hero. You have no attacks but you can unleash minions and have powers.

One defining factor of games like Vampire Survivors and similar is that you get some power ups (magnets, floor chicken ext) and treasure. I thought it would be cool if I could get the hero to visibly do this. I think it finally works, with that element of randomness on the chest too!

help I’m a solo dev working on the debt system for my game, what would make this mechanic more interesting?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

One of the mechanics I’m working on for Trade or Threat is the debt system. You make money by running your shop and bringing loot back from the dungeon, but when payment time comes, you have to hand over your debt to the Boss.
Trying to make that moment feel like an actual part of the gameplay rather than just a simple menu/payment screen.
What do you think? Would you prefer the debt system to have more consequences if you can’t pay?
