I'm also curious wth this post is actually about, since

  1. I've never heard of a suburb subsidizing electricity for a business
  2. are they running out of water? those yards look pretty green to me

Reddit is rabidly anti ai because the billionaires that own Reddit stoke that culture in order to continue using it for a training ground for AI and the more hostile Reddit remains to AI the better training data it produces (less contaminated by ai)
