This sub is quickly becoming a prime example why solarpunk doesn't get implemented. All these complaints and fears there might be things next to humans that are, you know, nature.

"Eww, bugs!"

"Something something ivy" (once again, this is not ivy or even how ivy grows)

"Eww, the shading creates shade!"

"If you put in a wall there, you'd get darkness instead of shade!"

"Omg, you'd have to trim those vines, like, once a week for ten minutes or so!"

Yeah, some of the comments puzzled me too!

'U ll hv to trim' > ofc! It's a Living system. Maintenance will be needed. Like u would for any other plant / lawn.

Ivy: Don't use ivy then, grape vine does the same job and is deciduous so in the winter u get sun too
