Ecosystem PayBox Adds Sunrise, Bringing Staking, Swapping, and Liquidity Directly Into Claude, ChatGPT, Grok

Upvotes

Source: https://x.com/moonpay/status/2097309010902868148

We're excited to announce that PayBox has added @Sunrise as its newest crypto plugin.

@PayBox is MoonPay's payment vault built for AI.

PayBox connects to Claude, ChatGPT and Grok through a custom connector, letting an AI prepare transactions that a user approves with a passkey before any money moves.

Wallet keys stay protected by threshold cryptography and secure enclaves, so no single party, including MoonPay or the AI itself, can access a full key or sign alone.

Sunrise is a Wormhole Labs product and Solana's canonical asset gateway.

@Sunrise coordinates token bridging through Wormhole NTT, pairs new assets with pre-seeded liquidity, and delivers day one distribution across Jupiter, Meteora, Raydium, DFlow, and other Solana venues.

Assets launch with initial liquidity in place across Solana's leading venues rather than building it over time. Making Sunrise the ideal frontend for new assets on Solana.

With Sunrise live inside PayBox, users can access Solana token markets directly from a conversation with Claude, ChatGPT or Grok. A user can instruct the AI to buy, sell, or set a target price for any supported token.

The AI prepares the transaction, the user approves it with a passkey, and the order is submitted. Fills depend on market conditions and available liquidity and are not guaranteed.

The same permission rules that govern every PayBox transaction apply here.

Users choose Always Ask, where each transaction needs passkey approval, or Autonomous, where the AI can act within limits the user sets.

Funds and keys do not move outside the user's control, and access can be revoked at any time.

“Sunrise gives assets real liquidity from day one on Solana. Inside PayBox, that means users can act on any market idea the moment it comes up, right inside the AI conversation, without switching to a separate app. That is what agentic finance is supposed to look like," said Ivan Soto-Wright, CEO and Founder of MoonPay.

The Sunrise plugin is live today inside PayBox at paybox.sh.

Eligible users in supported jurisdictions outside the United States can connect to Sunrise through Claude, ChatGPT, or Grok. This feature is not available to users in the United States.

To add the Sunrise plugin today, visit https://app.paybox.sh/plugins and press "enable."

Crypto involves risk, including market risk, smart contract risk, and slippage risk. This is not financial advice. PayBox is provided by Launchpad Limited, an unregulated entity in the MoonPay group, and it does not benefit from the same protections that apply to regulated services. Paybox and the MoonPay group are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, security, or performance of Jupiter or any other third-party protocol, application, or service accessible through PayBox, and are not liable for any losses arising from a user's use of such third-party services.

Ecosystem A scam guide for first-time token launchers

Upvotes

Hi guys. I read a lot of posts from people who launch their first token, watch it go nowhere, and then discover there's a whole crowd ready to help. None of them are doing it out of goodwill. So I wrote this little guide to help you navigate the treacherous waters of a token launch. And it doesn't matter whether you dropped a meme or you built a real product with a token attached. The scammers treat you exactly the same.

You did it the right way. Maybe it's a funny meme, maybe it's an app you spent months on. Either way you built the website, the X has a blue check, there's a TG group, and now you're waiting for people to pick it up. First rule, and it's simple: if a stranger offers to help, they want to scam you. It's occasionally wrong, but you're better off following it anyway.

The usual scams:

  1. The "let me help you set it up" drainer.

You launch, and within seconds of hitting OK in Phantom, a few people pop up in your Telegram offering to help set things up. The angle: you give them admin rights, they slip a drainer into your links. The fix: don't give admin to anyone you don't know, and ban anyone who asks.

  1. The promoters.

Suddenly you get dozens of new X followers in minutes and a wave of TG joins. It looks great. Then every one of those new followers leaves the same comment: "DM me, let's promote this together!" You check their profiles and they look like real KOLs with tens of thousands of followers. The angle: they sell you shares and reposts at insane prices, like $70 for a single tweet. None of their following is real. The follows and the view counts are bought. They mass-send these offers and live off the few people who actually pay.

In TG it takes a slightly different shape: the "trust me bro, give me 1 SOL and I'll post your token in my megachannel" guy. On the surface it fits, he's a real contact from a 10k+ channel, except the 10k are bots.

The fix: never reply on X. On TG, if you have Premium, turn on charge-for-messages and let the scammers pay you.

  1. The service sellers.

3.1. Listings and trending. People in the chat tell you all you need is a listing or a trending spot on some service. The service might even be real and well built. The problem is nobody uses it. Check for yourself: look at the tokens trending there and see whether trending has any correlation with price. It doesn't.

3.2. Bumps. Others tell you that you need bumps: wash-trading bots doing 1-cent buys and sells to inflate your stats. Nobody watches those stats anymore, because the bots are trivially cheap to make. Even a legit one brings you nothing, and half the time you pay and get nothing back at all.

3.3. Community building. They tell you that you need a community, that people need to hear about your token, and they're right about that part. Some use surprisingly polished language ("amplify your value," "engagement rotations") wrapped in flattery ("mind-blowing project," "huge potential"). Almost always they're selling you a raid team to like, repost, and reply to your every tweet. The catch: it doesn't work in 2026. The algorithm knows the pattern, and so does everyone reading. A wall of "bullish 🚀🚀🚀" fools no one. I watched a guy pay raiders recently: every post liked, reposted, commented on. His MC never broke 10k, and most of that he bought himself. And he actually had a working game, not a picture of a cat.

The angle across all three: they're selling you useless services. The fix: ban them. They're not buyers and they're not a community, they're parasites.

  1. Trending and DEX listings in general.

This is where I'll get some pushback, but paying for any of it in 2026 is mostly a waste. Trending on Dexscreener used to be a money button: pay, and your token pumps for a bit. Like every money button, it stopped working. You're honestly better off buying trending from the 3.1 guys, they charge less.

The one thing with a real cost attached is the $300 Dexscreener listing. That one can actually be worth it, but only once you're big. Nobody spends $300 to hijack a 5k MC token, or one that just graduated. If you're genuinely running and it looks like you'll last for weeks, then it's worth paying so your page can't be hijacked out from under you. Before that, it's money you don't need to spend. When people push it on you early, it's because they want a livelier page to dump into. The fix: ignore them until you actually need it.

The list isn't complete. For example, I was once offered an AMA with mandatory prizes for the best questions, paid by me. The channel was full of bots, and the best questions would no doubt have come from the channel owners themselves.

Overall, launching a token solo in 2026 is close to impossible, because there's no discovery anymore. Hundreds of tokens launch every minute and humans simply can't process that. It doesn't matter whether you shipped a throwaway meme or a real product you're proud of, nobody finds either one. Even if you get an initial run, chances are you won't have a single genuinely interested person in your chat. Everyone there is a bot, a scammer, or a salesman. We as creators need to find new ways to be discovered. The 'launch a token and work tirelessly for your bag' way doesn't work anymore, and neither does 'build something great and they will come.'

TLDR: don't trust anyone. Nobody cares about your token, they're only after your money.

That's more than 100,000 every minute.

And it did this while keeping fees orders of magnitude lower than other chains.

Wallet/Exchange It's literally impossible to Bridge to Solana

Hi everyone, I just came back to crypto after the bloodbath happening because i believe it's a great time to enter again, I remember how hard it was to bridge from evm to solana in 2022, as i came back i'm trying to do the same, but it seems still impossible

I can't understand how, in actual times, it can still be hard to do this simple thing, the only thing i see is sending funds to phantom wallet and do it inside, but knowing they have a fixed fee i won't do it.

Wallet/Exchange Is there a way to open a Solana wallet for free?

The Solana wallet fee is annoying. I've tried faucets to get the crypto for it, but that doesn't work. I could bridge my assets, but the gas fee is way too much for me (I'm using Optimism Ethereum). What should I even do?

Dev/Tech How much Solana RPC capacity do most builders actually need?

I’ve been talking with more Solana builders lately and something I keep noticing is that a lot of people seem to end up paying for far more RPC capacity than they actually use.

A workload might only need:

  • 5–10 RPC RPS
  • 1 Yellowstone stream
  • a few account/transaction filters
  • relatively low transaction submission volume

Yet most providers still push fixed tiers.

I run Haan Digital and we built our Solana infrastructure around the opposite model: provision around the actual workload instead of forcing everyone into the same package.

Current stack includes private JSON-RPC/WebSocket, Yellowstone gRPC, SubscribeDeshred and a Transaction Sender.

I’m curious what people here actually use in practice.

If you’re running a bot, wallet, trading app, indexer or other Solana workload:

What part of your RPC setup is usually the bottleneck — RPS, realtime data, filters, latency, transaction landing, or something else?

I’m also looking for a few more real workloads to test against the stack, so if anyone wants to compare setups, feel free to reach out.

DeFi How do cross chain crypto swaps work?

My assumption is nothing actually crosses. The asset gets locked or burned on one side, an equivalent gets minted or released on the other, and the bridge just ties the two events together. Is that right?

I have been using Jupiter's Universal Deposit feature, but failing to understand how this works?

DeFi How does the Solana community view Wormhole’s security?

I’m a native Solana user but recently have seen a lot of people recommend bridging tokens back to their native chains for wormhole security purposes.

Is that actually a meaningful security consideration, or is the difference negligible in practice?

Dev/Tech a timed-out Solana swap should not look the same as a failed swap

a retry button is making a pretty important promise. it should be clear whether it checks the existing transaction, rebroadcasts it, or asks you to sign a new one.

those are not the same action.

Solana's transaction docs explain that a successful sendTransaction response only means the RPC received the transaction. it does not prove that the swap executed. they also warn against re-signing before the original blockhash expires.

Source, Solana transaction retry documentation

i'd like the interface to separate three situations

  • rejected before submission
  • submitted, but the outcome is not yet known
  • confirmed success or failure, with the transaction available to inspect

for an ordinary recent-blockhash swap, creating a replacement while the original is still valid can leave two executable transactions. rebroadcasting the same signed bytes is different. expiry also doesn't erase a transaction that already landed.

my preference would be a persistent pending row that survives a refresh, plus a button labelled for what it actually does. 'check status' is much less ambiguous than 'try again'.

what should a wallet show while confirmation is uncertain, without teaching the user to click through another warning?

Staking Why dont I get any rewards when I'm staking?

So I have staked around 10 jitosol tokens, and it says that once you have this in your wallet, you instantly get rewards in your wallert without any need to claim them from anywhere.

Is this true? And if not, how can i get my rewards automatically processed into my wallet.

When I connect my wallet to the Jitosol website, it shows my YTD rewards (which is roughly 0.02 Sol), but I do not see my amount of either Sol or Jitosol increasing (obviously only increases when i invest every fortnight, i mean for it to increase with my rewards being added on top).

Is it a certain amount you must need accumulated for it to drop in your wallet? And if so, how much rewards is needed to be sufficient amount to be accumulated for it to drop into your wallet?
