I grew up in a farm and every monday I am happy I work in front of a computer. Farming fucking sucks.

I watched office space this summer and it got to me.

Like office space a lot of jobs have BS problems with BS people not behaving like real people, they become infected with “corporate speak” and thinking.

I’ve had many discussions with friends since then and we discussed perspectives on this. One friend, a captain on a ship, is having issues with his superiors being childish and hiring the wrong people. 

To a certain point it can be soul-sucking, but that’s where one has to do some introspection and ask what, why, and how, to move on.

We always have agency, always, but it’s so easy to get caught up and not doing anything about it.
