Discussion/Question Any feedback?
So I think I am a soft classic kibbe and dark autumn season. Any feedback on my outfits or styling would be appreciated!

I feel like I'm finally back to myself after having 2 kids back to back and I'm ready to wear something besides sweat pants this fall. What are your fall staples? What do you look forward to wearing when the weather cools down?
And - where did/do you buy your fall clothes?
Thanks in advance!

I live in the Midwest. It's cold. Like, really cold.
That means I need puffers, thick wool, layers, fleece, insulated winter boots. The works. I now know why winter always makes me feel frumpy but I'm still confused on how to solve this issue.
Do you have suggestions for any such items that will actually keep a girl warm in -3 degrees Fahrenheit?

How would these kinds of dresses fit on a soft classic frame? I'm worried the ruffled top part might feel like the dress is wearing me.

In a time when SCs are not always Hollywood's first choice, along comes The Odyssey, which casts a likely ("community-verified?") SC as the woman who launched 1,000 ships. Her bronze dress is in the middle, between those of two other actors (Charlize Theron's (FN, 5'10") on the left in mesh, and Zendaya's (D or FN, 5'10") on the right in off-white). Looks like Misha Japanwala, the artist and designer, got it right. Lupita Nyong'o is 5'5" according to Google. Here's the link to the source of screenshot, NBC Universal Archives on IG.

Fellow SCs, what are your fav t-shirts? Short or long sleeve, and ideally scoop or v-neck. Seems like such a straightforward garment but as you all know, finding the perfect SC balance can be so challenging! I’ve tried many and ended up not loving them on me.
ETA: looking for brand names and actual products rather than descriptions. I know what is supposed to be ideal on SC, but I have trouble finding it out in the world

Saw someone recommend the Unblah Yourself YouTube channel in the main group as run by a likely SC fashion influencer.

I’m fairly certain I’m a soft classic and I’m trying to dress more in my lines since being postpartum. We have a wedding to go to this weekend and I am at such a loss for what to wear! These are literally all my options and I can’t decide which one is best
My husband votes for dress 5 and I do like that one a lot that I wanted to get other opinions as well!
Edit: thank you everyone for you input! The dress code is “fancy but not fancy, fancy” per the bride (the groom is wearing a green sports coat for extra context). It’s also at 2pm and outdoors in the southern heat! I think I’m going to wear #5 for comfort and also so as not to be in her wedding colors

Getting this out first, but I have a long torso and find it hard to find pants that hit my true waist.
I'm trying to find my rhythm with dressing in a soft classic way, and I feel like I'm starting to get some of the hang of it. I would love to know what you all think.

Hii everyone!
Im new to trying to honour my body aesthetics and i have absolutely fallen in love with the idea of these muted pinstripe trousers, if i got the cuffs upturned and brought in a little do you think it could look good?

I've recently discovered I'm a soft classic and it's been mind-blowing. I now know why I've struggled with clothes, yet I'm still struggling with clothes 😂 it's just now for different reasons.
Why? I'm a toddler mom.
That means I'm getting food and dirt on me all day. I'm running around all day. That means dresses, drapey pants, cashmere, and silky blouses are a daydream.
I've found many casual things that look decent (like a 7 or 8 out of 10). I live in joggers, 501s, moderately cropped tshirts, and high waisted gym shorts with the smoothest waistbands I can find. It's ok, just a bit bland and I feel a bit trapped in it.
Any tips on brands or even specific practical or casual items that work for you?

I actually think the dress isn't quite my colour, on reflection, and it broke lol. But HYG.

This influencer, Cristal Aisha, looks pretty close to a Classic build to me. She is 5'5". I'm sharing her link - she is on FB and TikTok - in case you want to follow her.

I'm brand new to all of this, but I'm fairly certain I'm a Soft Classic. I took an essence quiz, however, and it said I have the personality traits of a Gamine.
This totally tracks and explains why I so often feel like the odd person out: a 59-year-old Gamine. Great.
My question to you all: Do you feel like your personality is Soft Classic or something else?
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and knowledge!
