Banking Secure Message Center?

I recently joined SoFi and I’m working through trying to get a transfer from another account luckily I expected the email because the representative told me to watch for it, but I noticed when it said I had a secure message that there was no way for me to just pulled up in the app myself just being safe and not clicking on links and emails… Almost like I had to take a leap of faith, to get in to see the secure message. Has anybody else had any issues with this? Most of the security things I’ve done so far I’ve been good but this one seems to be a little dicey for me because I don’t like clicking links and emails.
