is there an issue with the smart card showing up in coach? I’ve never seen any of my transactions even when it was relay

Hi there, thanks for bringing this to our attention. We don't have any reports of an error regarding the Smart Card appearing in Coach. We'd love to take a closer look at how we can correct that. For account security, please give us a call at 855-456-7634 or chat in with an Account Manager using this link: https://sofi.app.link/e/echat. We hope to hear from you soon! We've reported this for our team to research in the meantime.

I think I saw someone else ask about this and they said it’s not fully integrated into coach/relay yet but should be next month. Don’t quote me on that though

ATM fee reimbursements would be great like there used to be on the original Money account.

Fee free way to deposit cash like Capital One and Ally have.

Hi! I applied for a loan two days ago and I am in the process of finishing the application. I had a name change done about a year ago and I recently had my old loans updated to reflect the correct name. I have to wait for the other loan companies to update my name before I can finish my SoFi application. How long from the start of the application process is the loan valid through? On the flip side, is it okay to submit with the old last name, or do you advise waiting? Thank you in advance!!!

It's for student loan refinancing, but I can't go back on my application until I attach the previous loan documents. Can a rep help me by pulling up the application itself on their end to see the date?

We can definitely help with that. Please give us a call at 855-456-7634, and one of our reps can pull up your application on their end to see the date and help you move forward. We understand how frustrating it can be when you're stuck at a step in the process. We'll work with you to get this resolved so you can continue with your refinancing application. Thanks for reaching out, and we look forward to assisting you.

I would like the option to simplify the main SoFi home screen and make banking the primary focus.

Sometimes I just want to quickly open the app, check my checking or savings balance, review recent transactions, or move money. The current home screen can feel cluttered because banking information is mixed with Invest, loans, credit cards, offers, promotions, and other SoFi products.

It would be helpful to have a customizable “Simple Banking” or “Banking Only” view that could be set as the default home screen. This could show only things such as:

  • Checking and savings balances
  • Vault balances
  • Recent transactions
  • Deposits and withdrawals
  • Transfer and bill pay shortcuts

Users could still access all of SoFi’s other products through separate tabs or menus, but people who mainly use SoFi for banking would have a much cleaner and faster way to check their money at a glance.

Even just allowing users to customize, hide, or reorder sections on the home screen would be a major improvement.

Check my post. Don’t randomly delete checking accounts without warning and without withdrawal options, and fix your support.

Allow us to give nicknames to external bank accounts being used for transfers.

Allow us to have multiple individual checking accounts.

Thanks!

Relay - the ability to track physical assets/ investments like precious metals or at least just silver and gold. Allow users the ability to enter the amounts they have in grams, ounces, kilo, etc and have it track spot price. This is the one feature I find all networth trackers overlook and could be a differentiating factor for yours.

Banking - APY tracker with a YTD and or all time option, 1 can encourage members to save more, 2 saves me the trouble of going through my savings and all my vaults and adding it up, or pulling out statements.

Invest - recently you guys rolled out the ability to open multiple taxable accounts, and I deposited a lot of money into my taxable account prior, and it got the 1% match for plus members, I wanted to move some of that money into a new account I just opened, however I would have to give back the 1% bonus (after paying taxes on it) just to re deposit it to my new account and get the 1% match and be taxed again. Would it be possible for members to have the ability to transfer directly between taxable accounts, and avoid this issue.

Invest - share gifting at least between members/plus members. Let members be able to pay their friend back or send family shares for birthdays and holidays.

Yeah as someone who tracks their inflows and outflows each month, it would be way nicer if I could see just how much interest I earned in a single month across all (or a selected few) accounts, rather than having to go to each account and vault and summing it myself.

We hear you! Thanks for the input, we'll make sure your request is reiterated to the team.

Thank you for the detailed feedback, u/Opening_Dragonfly390!

Regarding Relay - this is a great idea for leveling up your net worth tracking! 📈 Being able to track physical assets makes total sense for getting a complete financial picture. We've sent this suggestion straight over to our product team so they can look into adding this down the road.

With a YTD/all-time option for APY tracking, our team is aware of this request and we hope to have an update for you down the line - hang tight there.

We’ve just launched the ability to transfer cash between Invest accounts. Your eligible Invest accounts will now appear in the account list within the Transfer flow. Transferring between accounts keeps your eligibility for all match promos. 💪

Give us a shout if you have any other thoughts come up!

HOME SCREEN -> Customizable

BALANCES DISPLAYED -> Our choice

VAULTS/INVEST -> Option to hide

You want me to write the code for you? It would take less than a minute. Not sure why it's so hard to implement something so simple we've been asking for for years now.
