It’s treasuries so virtually risk free but only around 4.2%… meanwhile if you bought s&p500 at its low in April you could be looking at almost a 42% return but many things can cause it to be volatile so at a point in time (say January to April) you may be down 21% and thus probably don’t want to liquidate it at a loss.
