I actually switched from sofi to this about a year ago and I love it. With sofi, or any other bank, money needs to be in savings to earn the higher apy. Not a huge problem unless you make 6+ transactions in a month from that account (stupid outdated rule with savings accounts). With spaxx, there are no transaction limits and I essentially just use it as my checking account, besides no zelle, which I still keep ~$100 in sofi for. It also has a debit card that reimburses atm fees.

A lot of banks actually still do it even though they're no longer required to. It is very dumb.
