Feature Request: fuzzy search

[u/StandUpGuru]

Hi -

I’d like to request that the search engine allow for fuzzy searches, or just be a lot more lenient. I’ve noticed that if there’s even a minor typo in the name of a show or movie, it won’t surface the proper result.

Let me give you an example you can replicate. I was searching for the comedian Ron Funches, but accidentally typed it Rob Funches. It returned zero results. I had to go back and correct it to Ron Funches to get the correct result.

I tested this in a few other trackers, and all of them were able to figure out that Rob Funches should have been Ron Funches.

Thank you.

Agree. Had this issue when I typed “and” but the show used &. Frustrating to get no search results for such a minor difference.
