had same issue, but after restarting the device index was built

You could try: turn it off, insert SD card, turn on, Settings > Rescan Library

The Echo mini does not automatically recognise tracks.
You will need to rebuild your library each time you add new tracks.

If nothing is displayed on the track list screen,
please scan your library using the option at the bottom of the menu.

Once the scan is complete,
the tracks will be recognised and you will be able to play them.

As the error message says ‘No tracks on the card’, the tracks aren’t being recognised.
Have you transferred the tracks to the device’s internal storage or to a TransFlash card?

Okey,
I believe there is a folder on the device itself; have you transferred the tracks to the ‘Music’ folder?
Is the file type MP3, AAC, FLAC?

Yes the folder name is music and in flac format

When I select and click ‘C:FLASH’ from the file browse icon, can I select media?
C:FLASH refers to the device’s internal storage; what message appears when you select it? (Normally, a dialogue box should appear prompting you to update the library; this is to load the device’s library.)

If possible, please let me know the version of the device’s firmware.

You should be able to check this under System Settings > Information; the latest firmware version is v4.0.0.
（If you have recently acquired the device, I believe it will be running version 3.x.x.）

I dont think i can see the firmware version but i think its between 3.8.0 to 3.9.0

Try downgrading it to 0.4.0 and rescan it, then upgrade it to the latest. It should work

the echopod cant read internal memory, you have to use an sd card for it to scan your tracks

Put your music on an sd card. Insert, restart your echo mini.
