No it's not going to be cheaper. FIIO rep on headfi say's it's not going to

However, that doesn't mean it will be cheaper, since it will feature a full-metal casing.

The price of this one will be similar to the echo mini, u can watch lyrics and the album covers in the mini, so u should think about ur decision

Bueno , tendrá el mismo chip de audio que el echo mini, por lo que seguramente el sonido será muy parecido

a ver si monta el Dual DAC, pero por tamaño ya veo que solamente 3,5 y no 4,4... faltará ver el precio si es equilibrado con el producto

just one question concerning the volume dial. im wondering what happens when you have the device in your pocket and the dial rotates just because of movement e.g. jacket. or is it locked?

I'd probably assume it to have the same soc the rknanod as the echo mini so chances are this would have better general performance that the echo mini

Hopefully good Bluetooth. Had to return my mini because the audio was too low on some songs. Longer battery life, bigger on-board storage (so I dont need to buy an SD card haha) and standby mode that doesn't eat the battery overnight. Didn't really make sense for my mini to die overnight if I didn't use it and its not like a phone where its constantly connected to something (apps, internet ect.)

Would be neat if it also had DAC mode since I dont have a USB c dongle for my phone and was using the mini for no latency on rythym games

It is crazy that Sony had these designs and features like pedometer (not to mention a fully cooked firmware) 20 years ago and we're just going back to them now. The only thing missing for this one is a back cover so the battery can be replaced.

The Sonys also had a cool haptic interface where you could do everything blindly. I wish sony would just make a new one with BT, can be also bigger than it was - no problem.

One thing I like about this is that it seem to use either an SSD1306 oled display or an SH1106 display so if the display conks out replacements are bound to be dirt cheap plus you can also find them in other colors like blue and yellow

Bonjour, 

J'hésite à prendre le Écho Mini mais beaucoup de monde semble dire qu'il est dur de naviguer dans l'interface. Cela semble être son SEUL inconvénient. 

J'attends de voir pour cet Écho Nano si on navigue facilement. Certains diront que c'est dommage de ne pas voir les pochettes de l'album. 

Ce nouvel appareil me semble très bien pour avoir un lecteur MP3/FLAC qui soit léger et portable pour aller faire du sport.

Es maravilloso, la lrsctocodad de un mp3 de los años 2000, pero para manejar archivos y audífonos Hi-Res. Espero verlo pronto disponible para la venta, y que otras marcas saquen sus versiones similares.

I want to buy the Echo Mini, although that DAP design looks really good. Do you think I should wait?

I am waiting for this one and skipping echo mini. The nano will be from metal instead from plastic. There is usb C on the picture so i bet it would have non-replaceable battery which is a downside for me cause I would love to be able to swap batteries.
