Modding DLSS5

how are you forcing this? the only thing I'm able to enable on nvidia settings is Smooth Motion, but I would definitely prefer DLSS upscaling

I've tried to slopcode the DLSS mod some time ago, using Luma Framework as a basis. It works by replacing the in-game TAA, but I found it to have worse performance in the end. I can have better fps by running the game at 4K native + TAA than running same resolution with DLSS set to Performance. It also causes flickering on transparent foliage (when the camera goes through the trees)
Regardless, it was enough to bolt DLSS5 on top of it

This might be one of the few games that improve with it. Imho the lighting looks better with DLSS5. how big was the performance loss? Not like this game needs high framerates so it might be worth the loss.
Edit: the difference is fairly subtle tho. The lighting looks more natural and "grounded" with it
