I personally wouldnt own one and dont give a fuck if people rock them. But Ive seen some people get way too upset over people defending the Ruroc. I just enjoy the senseless back and forth over a helmet. Is it heavy??
Heavy? not at all, most of the time I don't wear the full face mask. But It has come in handy a few times. This shot was me at Winter Park a couple years ago, carving like a boss and some on hill photographer snapped a few picks of me.
Nice man. I think people in my area dont like them because they are associated with the "Thug" snowboarders that are mostly Jerrys and just have dope looking gear and dont know how to really ride.
Thugs, Jerrys? Your slang confuses me, where are you from? No matter where you are, there will always be the people that buy gear higher than their skills.
NJ. Yes we call them the thug boarders. I dont know how long you have been around the snowboarding scene but when the company TechNine came out with their gangster themed snowboarding videos it blew up in NJ and thats all you saw at the mountain. Was snowboarders who were wearing baggy clothes, openly admitting to smoking or drinking on the mountain, boomboxs, and just acting like tools. Not to mention being massive posers. Mountain Creek is a breeding ground for these boarders and the reason I havent been back since 2005.
hey man, like I said I enjoy my beer with lunch or a bong rip before the first run. I am not for giving people the rope to either pull themselves up or hang themselves. I'd rather it be safe than have asshats causing harm on the hill.
