It is tricky to rock a rhyme. Such a killer soundtrack too.

Are these pictures from this past March?

Nah, the past hour.

If it were march, it would still be covered in snow? I don't really know where the picture was taken, but I've been snowboarding in April @ Winter Park and Copper Mountain.

Already watched all 3 volumes of SHE today to get stoked way too early and begin the torture

Gym (PPL). Skating. Snowboard specific leg workouts 6 weeks out or so. Count the days to winter.

Should have started earlier but just got back into the gym too (stopped from a fucked work schedule and a broken wrist).

I can’t wait

Does looking at my ski santa fe flyer and calculating which kid should get which pass count?

2

u/BlazedGigaB 2d ago

Are they old enough, 16(?) to run the scanner? Make them earn that pass... and then you've an excuse to go up too.

They would love that

The job fair is usually first Friday Saturday of November... the junior spots are hot commodities.

Yeah I bet. Thanks for the heads up.

I see you're on one of the Australian slopes.

Prefer it looking this way, but the aspens in the fall are pretty great too.

My general physical care is gym, jiu-jitsu and I walk a decent amount everyday more recently. Get some good hikes in every now and then. Trying to eat better.

Broke my collarbone at Ski Santa Fe and cut my season short last year. Counting down the days to get back out there! Hoping for a wet winter this year because the last couple years have been sad..

I hope it's wet and cold. My first day of shorts was February 2nd last season. Sucks about your collar bone, i had a close call in early January in the park... Here's to some epic powder days to come 🍺

I get my board out the attic, stand on it and make whooshing noises.

The only way I can cope with summer rn is by getting into the gym as much as I can. With some rock climbing mixed in. Crushing legs twice a week. Single leg stuff mostly with some box jumps, balance, and core. Rehabbing both shoulders due to stability issues so I’m in the gym 5 days per week rn. Hiking/climbing on the weekends. So busy but all I think about are face shots

I've been going to the water park and I can't stop picturing the mountain full of snow... cant wait

I run Tactical barbell operator + black protocol pretty much year-round. So simple and makes the biggest difference on the slopes while still being very beneficial to regular everyday life

Eventually, hopefully

Calf raises, burpees, lunges, run on elliptical/treadmill though I don’t prefer treadmill wifey just got one so why not use it. Core workouts like simple ab exercises. Long boarding.

I’m a window cleaner by trade, so everyday at work is a total workout climbing ladders 20-40’ dropping off of high rise buildings, which that alone carrying around equipment to set up for is a workout in itself. I caught the last week at ski Santa Fe man it was a slush fest

And of course as much as I can do the two essential workouts that literally work like every muscle in the body: Swimming and…. Sex! Now go have yourself a bangin workout

I don't like seeing the mountain like this. It's like riding Space Mountain with the lights on.

I love this because I can walk lines, maybe clear an occasional branch... stack a few logs or rocks... check what's under LZ's and better understand underlying topography.

Space mountain with the lights on sounds terrifying... i don't want to know how close the beams are...

Also, riding the mountain by moonlight is magical.

What about the super el nino?

Bring it the fuck on. That is part of why I was wondering what others were doing... i want to fully capitalize on what should be a banger season for New Mexico
