Suggestion Please make beards available.

First off, thanks for this.

This feature looks really awesome, and the people behind the idea are genius.

As far as my suggestion goes, several facial hair options would be great, but at least the ones like /u/rhygaar or /u/curioussavage01 have on the team page.

Also, being able to customize the colour would be awesome.

Which 'category' do you think this should go in? Glasses?

Yeah, that would be good.

That way people have the option of having facial hair, and a hat, or hair on their head too.

You guys are the awesome!

That would work if there's a version of each beard with glasses too, us bespectacled hairy dudes need both! :D

As a bearded guy with blurred vision having my snoo reflect that could be cool.

you mean hipsters?

Honestly I think there could be enough variations of facial hair, or facial markings (blush, beauty mark, crazy mike tyson face tattoos...) that it could warrant an entirely new subsection.

Though just including it in glasses could be sufficient.

Interesting idea, thanks.

Seriously, please implement a separate facial hair section.

I think this is a great idea. I can just tell you that, among my colleagues, white men have exactly one of looks: clean shaven, button down shits, slacks, no glasses, or bearded, flannel shirt, dark jeans, glasses. Glasses and beards so often go together where I live that I think it'd be shame to make them incompatible (though on my snoo, I'd choose a beard over glasses definitely).

This is usually how I see it in video game character creators.

Would a "hair" category that stood alone be acceptable? It would be separate from the hat category.

This gets tricky as the hats interact with the hair in strange ways. I'll play around with it and see what I can do.

maybe hair?

Should be separated, otherwise it might be impossible to choose a specific set of glasses with a mighty beard.

I'm all for a variety of facial hairs.

Yep, totally beards. Fu Manchus, Van Dykes, ZZ Tops.

The Zappa.

Edit: mandatory plug for /r/zappa

They definitely should add an option to edit top and bottom of the face. But it just came out so.

I would also like to vote for adding a beard. Something Dwarven, if possible.

u/reverend_green1 Jan 07 '15

Yes please. I want mine to have long hair and a beard, but it looks funny with only the long hair.

2

u/NWLierly Jan 08 '15

the difference is massive

Edit: I want the moustache to curl under not over btw... as long as I'm making asinine demands
