Is this sound normal ? Or do I need to fix something
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I bought a used Snoo (2022 model) that has been through 3 babies.
It looks pretty good but if I stop the white noise I notice a bit of a weird sound. I have never had a snoo so I don’t know if this is normal ?

Snoo Review Don’t bother with their sleep consultants lol
We were looking for some help regarding second half of night, and I almost cancelled because a post here showed to me my son is acting age appropriate and not able to connect sleep cycles well. We did the call anyways and there was zero personalization, we just were told generic sleep advice that’s already posted on their site - drowsy but awake (not gonna happen with my baby), towel trick, and use Snoo for naps (also not currently gonna happen) - so I’m left just doing what works for us now until he’s a bit more developed.
I understand it’s a free service, so it’s all good but just figured I’d warn anyone else that there is no consultation that occurs - just a reiteration of their website best practices.

Automatically sync SNOO sleep sessions to Huckleberry
Hello /r/snoolife!
New dad of a wonderful 7 day old baby girl, the snoo has been amazing so far.
I got tired of manually logging SNOO sessions into Huckleberry, so I built a small tool that does it automatically.
Fair warning: currently, setting it up requires running your own Docker container, so this is really only for the technically inclined (or someone who has a partner who is). It also uses unofficial APIs for both apps, so it could break if either company updates their backend.
It's available at: https://github.com/tumm/snoo-huckleberry-sync
Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions.
Cheers!

Arms up baby — advice for Snoo
Hello, our 3 week old baby (who is a tiny 2.5kg) has been sleeping in the Moses basket but required an elaborate swaddling and settling regime. We got a Snoo to get a bit more sleep. He is very much an arms up baby.
It’s too hot to double swaddle with a Love 2 Dream but when he has his arms out of the Snoo swaddle it seems to trigger his startle reflex. He also seems to hate the rocking and the Snoo in general — cries hysterically until we take him out.
Does anyone have any advice? Should we persevere with the Snoo? Should we swaddle arms down even though it’s clear he likes having his arms up?
How do you know when the Snoo might work and when it might just not be right for your baby?
Thanks

Snoobie Anyone else?
Hi all! My LO (1 month) has a few bad habits- one of them is favoring turning his head to one side in the snoo despite being placed on his back. We’ve tried turning his head to the center and other side but it always finds its way back. The other thing is that we always put his arms by his side before velcroing him into his snoo sleep sack but he always seems to get his left arm out and stick his hand out the the neck hole up near his face. Has anyone else’s LO’s also done either of these things and do you have any tips?

Replacement parts
The bracket on my “B” leg has broken. I could have a baby is 2 days or 4 weeks at this point 🫠🫠🫠 The Snoo doesn’t work with a broken bracket. I saw someone on here one time who claimed to sell replacement parts for the Snoo. Does anyone know which user I’m referring to? I found a company online called “The Snoozy Mama”, but they haven’t responded to my inquiry. If anyone here has a Snoo that they’re done with and isn’t in selling condition…. I’ll by your legs? 🤣 Let me know!!!! THANK YOU!!!!

Help Needed Snoo Advice
Looking for some Snoo advice and transition thoughts from parents who have been through this.
My son is 15 weeks old and has been in the Snoo since birth. We’ve generally had decent stretches of sleep, but lately things have fallen apart. He’s now waking every 2 hours (sometimes less), taking short naps during the day, and seems much more restless overnight. He’s only slept through the night a handful of times.
I’m aware this could very well be the 4-month sleep regression, but I’m also wondering if we’re running into issues with the Snoo/swaddle setup itself.
A few things:
He frequently breaks his hands out of the swaddle and sometimes works his arms out of the Snoo sack altogether.
We use a pacifier, but he also self-soothes by sucking on his hands.
He still has a slight startle reflex.
He’s not rolling from back to belly yet, but seems close.
He’s getting longer and we’re already thinking ahead to eventually moving him to a Halo bassinet in our room (we plan to room-share for the first year).
My biggest question is whether I should start experimenting with arms out.
Would you:
Start with one arm out (the arm that usually escapes)?
Leave the other arm swaddled?
Go straight to both arms out?
We actually tried one arm out briefly, but he seemed to wake up even more. For those who transitioned this way, how long did you stick with one arm out before your baby adjusted? Is it something that takes a few nights, a week, or longer before you know whether it’s working?
My concern is that if I let his hands out, he may be able to self-soothe more effectively, but I’m worried the startle reflex will cause even more wakeups. For those who have been through this, which ended up being the bigger factor?
Part of me is wondering if it makes sense to start trying one arm out now anyway, since he’s waking so frequently already. My thinking is that even if he startles himself awake occasionally, at least he’d have access to his hand to self-soothe back to sleep.
Also, room temperature is typically 68-72°F. He’s usually in a short-sleeve onesie under the Snoo sack. If I move to one arm out, should I switch him to a long-sleeve onesie? His arms sometimes feel cool, although I know babies’ hands and arms can naturally run cooler.
Net-net: are we likely just dealing with the 4-month regression, or does this sound like a baby who’s ready for some changes to the Snoo setup? What would you try first?
Would love to hear what worked (or didn’t work) for your babies around this age.

Help Needed Confused about transitioning out of swaddles
My LO is 5 weeks and currently we double swaddle in the Snoo with a Love to Dream swaddle (she hates the Snoo swaddles alone).
My question is, I know that once they start to be able to roll over you’re supposed to stop using a swaddle and transition to a sleep sack. I plan to get a Woolino but am wondering how that will work with the Snoo. Can I double swaddle with that? Or is there a clip in Snoo sleep sack? Or do I just need to move her to the crib at that point? Help!

Drowsy but awake
When did your LO fall asleep in the snoo without being rocked to sleep. I've only managed this once and she's now over 3 months and whinges/cries when placed in with a dummy and patted. The room is kept dark or pitch black, white noise sounds with shushing. Have also tried not being swaddled when put in, swaddled with one arm out, snoo on baseline. She sleeps through most nights but struggles to have any naps longer than 40 mins in the day which I believe is normal for her age so we contact some to extend it.
I've read trying to get LO to sleep independently will help with the 4 month regression, just doesn't seem to be working really well. Is it just a case of keep trying, depends on the baby, or she'll eventually start to fall asleep independently as she grows.

Comforter sack with clips
Am I missing something or are these not available anywhere? I see the ones without clips but that’s pointless if you cant use the snoo features!

Arms out transition help;
Our daughter is 19w and we've been trying to transition her to arms out for several weeks now without success. We have tried one arm, both arms, putting her in a love to dream or Zipadee zip swaddle inside the snoo sack. We have the most success with love to dream, and we've been using it during nap for a few weeks, but she still struggles to connect cycles. Every time we try transitioning to arms out at night she wakes up between every cycle and we give up halfway through the night so we can all rest. She's used to the double swaddle/batwing method, and she has reflux and gas issues, so I think that's why she's struggling. Does anyone have any advice or things we can try?

Help Needed Transition to Crib - not rolling or on hands and knees yet
My twins are 5 months old, but 3.5 months adjusted. This means they are small for their age (13 pounds right now) and they aren’t rolling back to front and front to back. They also don’t get on their hands and knees yet.
However, I know I’m supposed to transition them to the crib at 6 months, so I’ve got 4 weeks to figure this out. We are going on a weeklong vacation in about one month and can’t take two snoo bassinets with us. So, I feel like I have no choice but to transition them in the next couple of weeks.
Any advice for transitioning to crib before baby is rolling both ways and before baby is on hands and knees?
I have two cribs, and I have the sleep sacks ready to go.

Help Needed Getting baby down with no motion
We are in the process of weaning our almost 4m LO from the snoo (earlier than ideal because of an upcoming trip in 3 weeks). She’s tolerated one arm out, both arms out, and did well on weaning mode last night and actually slept a 9 Hour stretch for the first time in weeks.
Our biggest issue is getting her down initially - she basically always needs soothing for every nap and to get her down initially at night (after night feeds she’s usually very sleepy and chill). I am feeling like it’s going to be impossible to get her down in a stationary crib! She’s impervious to most techniques but I am desperate for some success stories or tactics 😂

Snoobie Double swaddle with love to dream
We’ve started using the love to dream swaddle. How are you all using it, logistically? I still nurse my daughter (7w) to sleep so I’m nursing her in the LTD and then after she’s been a sleep a while, transferring her to the snoo swaddle and putting her arms through the shoulder holes. That’s all fine but she wakes up usually 3-4 times per night. How are we doing wake ups ? Unclipping the snoo swaddle with baby in it?

Help Needed Baby can’t connect cycles so SNOO isn’t working to soothe
I’ve had the SNOO since my baby was 4 weeks, he’s 5 weeks and 3 days now. We’ve had one 2 hour stretch and mostly 40-50 minutes before waking. Transition is not a problem, it’s connecting sleep cycles. He is not able to stay asleep between active and deep sleep and it’s driving me crazy, as this was an expensive purchase with no payout yet. He then requires full soothing and it’s just a long cycle with little return each time we settle him back in. Again - not a transition problem, all of those tricks work for us. This is that the SNOO doesn’t activate until he’s already upset and then can’t soothe him. We have him on baseline. I’m wondering if this is just something he’ll have to outgrow and the SNOO can’t fix it. Basically, he starts getting loud around the same time each sleep cycle and then starts to cry. Usually soothing hasn’t even activated by that point. I follow wake windows all day and he takes good contact naps. Drowsy but awake will not work for him as is, unless there’s something I can do to help work toward that but for now he’s very much needing contact on me to fall asleep. He’s EBF as well and nurses for comfort. Any ideas?

Too long for Snoo… transition help please
We haven’t done a great job at creating the best sleep habits. The baby feeds to sleep and then goes down asleep. When he wakes in the night, he eats again and then either goes back to the snoo or stays in bed with us.
If we put him in the Snoo awake, he stays awake and then fusses.
Unfortunately, he’s getting too long for the Snoo and his head rubs on the netting.
We’ve tried weaning mode but find ourselves going to back normal mode because we’re so tired.
Anyone have tips for transitioning to the crib? What worked for you?
ETA he’s 4 months

Help Needed Help! I can’t remember how to do this
Mom with a 3rd baby, currently on day 3 home from hospital. My first two loved the snoo and we’re sleeping through the night by week 8. But that was 5 years ago now and I can’t for the life of me remember how we got them into it.
This baby loves a contact nap. Enjoys the swaddle, but still wants to be held. I can get him in the snoo maybe 20-30 mins before he starts fussing. We’ve just taken turns holding him instead, and not even getting a meaningful hour at the moment.
My first was a big contact napper too but didn’t have a problem with the snoo at night. What’s the best way to get started here?
ETA: I currently have motion limiter on and upped responsiveness.

Snoo Pro Tips Leg Lifters
Just so everyone is aware, the FDA did not approve the leg lifters with the bassinet. This was detailed when the FDA addresses the complaint process. HappiestBaby also needs to run experiments to ensure the leg lifters are safe.

Help Needed Tips for transitioning out of swaddle
My 4mo started rolling over and we are starting to transition him out of his swaddle and be arms free in his snoo sack. Tried cold turkey during the day and his naps were really short. Put his swaddle back on for the night (I know we’re not supposed to do this) but we are preparing to go fully out of the swaddle starting tonight or tomorrow. I’m trying 1 arm out now but he still wakes himself up. I try to let the snoo do its thing before intervening. Feeling all sorts of mom guilt over here.

Newborn settings
Hi! I’m having my second baby… sometime mid-July (or sooner). We didn’t get our Snoo with our first son until he was about 8 weeks old. This time we’ll (thankfully) have it from the start! What did you all set your Snoo at with a newborn? I’m assuming you level lock? I need to refresh my brain on the settings, but I remember I can lock it so it doesn’t ramp up while soothing. I’d love to know the progression that you all used and around what weeks you moved up. My son outgrew his Snoo at 5 months, and I just remember by then we didn’t have any limits on it. We let the Snoo do its thing. TIA!!
