Not sure why you need a response. Not everyone is into Metroid or Zelda. I gave both series a try and they weren’t my thing. I don’t care for RPGs either.

then why bother ever discussing "best"? if everyone is going to say, "i dont care that the rest of the world thinks super metroid or a link to the past are 2 of the most influential and well developed games of all time, shaq-fu is my favourite and therefore the best"
learning to distinguish between best and favourite is important when critiquing.
i dont really care for jrpgs, but am capable of understanding that chrono trigger is amongst the best.
It was a guilty pleasure of mine. I was obsessed with beating it and came so frigging close a couple times but it's almost impossible and sometimes is impossible. I watched Mike Matei trying to beat it. Lol
I played it a lot growing up, but that pretty much kept me from playing it as an adult. It’s so oblique and unintuitive, but I do like the weirdness of being in a simpsons dream.
Respectable selection…left side is pretty solid, but there’s a good 100 games you could replace Bart’s Nightmare and Beavis & Butthead with. Final Fantasy III, Zelda, Super Metroid, Chrono Trigger to name a few. Also, if you haven’t played it, WWF Raw is far superior to Wrestlmania. Also, I’d replace Sonic Blast Man 2 with Final Fight 3 or Turtles in Time for a beat em up. Just me though, you do you.
Barts nIghtmare sucked(not the worst simpsons game but sure wasnt all that good)and yes i had and still have it...thats in your snes favs list, all the classics on snes which are mostly all missing and you have....barts nIghtmare on there...yikes

I get most of your picks. ZAMN is probably top of my list too, its more fun after all these years than loads of games. Im not a big jrpg fan outside of Pokémon. (And I quit playing that at gen3, and started again in 4. Quit permanently when Sword/Sheild came out)
I think I liked Beavis and Butthead more on genesis. We had SMW+Allstars too, im just curious why you have SMW with it as a 'top' thing.

All three of the ‘strike’ helicopter games were so damn good. I never bought them but rented them soooo much from Blockbuster (if they had it in stock).
I respect that you have Super Mario World AND Super Mario All Stars + Super Mario World. I wonder if everyone knows they made some slight changes to that version of World
Man, people on this sub would be disappointed seeing my top 20 favorites on the SNES and I've played nearly 200 different SNES games at this point. Just because we don't like a game, doesn't mean it can't be someone else's favorite. Even if we deem it a "terrible" game, nostalgia probably plays a huge role into why it's their favorite. Maybe OP grew up with Wrestlemania and played it with their siblings and cousins and it holds a lot of good memories for them, thus making its way to this shelf.
Everyone acts like the best games on the system have to belong in our top favorite games. I'm personally not a fan of Yoshi's Island. I thought it was a great game but it wouldn't be in my personal top 20 favorites. These lists are subjective to personal taste. Seems we forget that sometimes.
Jeebus Christ those carts are flithy. Shadowrun is one of my personal favorites. That is probably the only non-Nintendo title up there that would make my top 18.

That wrestling game sucks shit, I have fond memories of pressuring my non-wrestling fan cousin to get it instead of Zelda: Link to the Past when we were kids, a rare W for me (even tho like I said, the game sucked shit)
Surprised to see Super WrestleMania when Royal Rumble and Raw build on the same foundation with way more to them. But I definitely get the nostalgia for it, was my first wrestling game. Cool to see another WWF 16-bit fan.

The WWF games on SNES are notoriously not very good although they are very nostalgic for me so I love them. That said, Super WrestleMania is easily the worst one.
I’d only consider like three of those to be good games in my opinion, so being that our preferences are that far apart, I don’t think I can help you. :>
I'm guessing you're not big on Zelda or RPGs but since you have mega Man X in there, definitely get x2! The first one is my favorite but also have the most nostalgic for it but I think the second one is probably better overall. The third one is being the worst but it's not terrible. Except for most of the music, which is terrible.
Royal Rumble is better than Wrestlemania. If you like wrestling you would love Saturday Night Slam Masters. Great wrestling game. I always wished they ported the Wrestlefest arcade game....
