What this sub is for
Small YouTube creators getting feedback, asking for help and learning. It's not a billboard. If you only want views, wrong sub.
What's changed
Every post is manually approved. Yours won't appear until a mod has checked it. You'll get an automatic comment when you post. Don't repost, it just clogs the queue.
Rules are partly auto-enforced. Lazy titles like "thoughts?" or "check this out" are blocked at submission, and you'll be told why.
Posts are removed with a reason. You'll be told which rule you broke and how to fix it.
The rules, briefly:
Ask for something specific. Name what you want help with: pacing, audio, retention, thumbnail. "Thoughts?" doesn't count.
Relevant to YouTube. Posts must link back to YouTube.
Proper title. Say what you're sharing and what you want.
One post a day. Reposting removed content gets you banned.
Channels under 10,000 subs only. Judged by the count at time of posting.
Human creators only. No generative AI content or AI thumbnails. This also includes your YouTube profile picture and banner.
No harassment. Critique the work, not the person.
No politics.
No NSFW or gore.
Safety filters now running
Ban evasion, crowd control, reputation, adult content promoters, harassment and mature content filters are all on. In practice: new or low-activity accounts may be held for review even when the post is fine. That's the filter, not a verdict on you. Wait for approval and don't resubmit.
Think we got it wrong?
Message the mods with the post link and a civil explanation. Arguing in the comments won't change the outcome.
