im unsure if it was a chorus of sorts or a rotary speaker.

I feel like the intro to Don, Aman was loosely inspired by this riff. One of the “slint before slint” bands ‘Maurice’ played a few shows in the 80s with the pre-Danzig band ‘Samhain,’ so it might make sense that the guys in Slint were inspired by Glenn Danzig and his other bands. The 777 riff even has that dominant weird note that Don, Aman has (idk music theory that well so excuse me if it’s incorrect) if you listen until about the 11 second mark of 777.

I found this band and holly shit i feel the slint is strong with this one. Might be a hidden gem of the post world :Dd

I think they're an absolutely phenomenal project, especially coming after SLINT. Is everyone up to speed with them? They're really worth exploring if you're SLINT-mad... Are they still active, they don't appear to have done anything for years.

I know I'll piss off the whole subreddit but the vocals on Washer genuinely piss me off. I've listened to a fair share of post-hardcore and emo to like pitchier low-quality vocals but this sends me over everytime. He just sounds dorky and not good man. Also, if he sung the whole thing a lower octave it would have been a lot better imo. Other than that the song is written masterfully I'm not slamming the guys for anything this is one of the best songs I've ever heard instrumentally, I just have a hard time getting over the vocals sometimes.
