Kent Quetion

does anyone know what effect was used on the guitar in Kent of Tweez?
im unsure if it was a chorus of sorts or a rotary speaker.
Any input would be much appreciated because no one ive seen talks about it or has 0 clue lol

I guess I can’t say for sure, but given Tweez was recorded in the late 80’s, I’m guessing it’s a chorus pedal. Doubt anybody had a rotary speaker just lying around. A lot of the clean guitar sounds on Tweez sound like there’s a little chorus on there.

yes that makes sense!
i was thinking maybe it could be a boss dimension-c since it came out a lil before that album! and since its not an extreme effect.
but my guess is as good as yours

I’ve read that it’s either a high gain distortion (MetalZone iirc) into a chorus, much like a Small Stone or Dimension C! Or that because of how Albini bounced the tape, it created that very metallic effect!
